How to Apply for Housing

1. Log in to your myUTTyler student account .
2. Select "Important Links"
3. Then click "Housing."
4. Select "Application".
5. Choose between University Pines or UT Tyler managed properties.*
6. Follow on-screen instructions to complete housing application (or waiver), room selection and housing contract.**

*University Pines does satisfy the On-Campus Residency Requirement when space is available.
**Room type, Facility and Roommate requests are not guaranteed.

While completing the housing contract, you will be asked to submit a $125 prepayment and non-refundable $125 application fee. After selecting a room and completing your housing contract, you will receive a confirmation email. Student move-in is the weekend before the start of class each semester.
